Did you know about the "International Tell Everybody Justin Bieber is a Gay Day"!

Have you heard of International Tell Everybody Justin Bieber is a Gay Day ? Well, until today morning I too wasn’t aware of such an anniversary. We’re having a talk about International Women’s Day , when to show off my knowledge I told the guys that the International Men’s Day and the World Toilet Day share same date, i.e. November 19 th . To prove the bet, easiest was to Google the same and land on the Wikipedia. Page was on International Men’s Day, but someone ‘interestingly’ changed the " Men’s " thing to “ Tell Everybody Justin Beiber is a Gay ”. We checked the bottom of the page and found that it was last modified on 9 March 2011 at around 9:00.That’s today only! What else, it was tweeted instantaneously :p Here’s a snapshot: International Men's OR Tell Everybody Justin Bieber is a Gay Day

Earning from Blogging - Do you?

How will you feel, when your Google AdSense application is being repeatedly disapproved for some allegedly “Objectionable content” and a friend, who has just started blogging on your suggestion, tell you that is earning in 5digits from blogging? Exactly, that’s the way I felt. ;-/ Atyush (name changed), is working in an IT company. Few days back, while chatting we started talking about social networking and all. He was impressed by my travelogues *shy*. So, on that note I suggested him to give his awesome humor writing skills some online audience. Within a few weeks, through FB, Tweeting and all other methods to reach-out, his followers list overtook mineL. All was good, at least fine, unless we talked last Saturday, when he told me that his blog is earning Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month.

Banarsi Holi

Last year, I could not go to my hometown, Banaras (Varanasi वाराणसी or Kashi काशी) on Diwali (Deepawali). That was one of the worst days of my life, that I realized when we had to go out for the dinner and we missed the suite of delicious home-made pakwans (food). Next day only, I booked round-trip tickets for Banaras. And, wallah , what fun I had this time on Holi....after a long gap...we played holi going topless (nicer term for tearing tees n shirts) with all sort of colors, gulaal and MUD! :)) It took me over 2hrs to be somewhat recognisable, and I still have my nails red coloured! But, what we guys, me n my ol'school friends, really treasured this Holi is the bond....nothing can ever break! Never ever! :) As promised this post is to share with you all my Holi-pictures....
