So, let’s call it a year. Through a lot of ups (!) and downs (yes!) over some 365 days classified in to 12months, the day is finally here, when I can finally say it ‘was’ a year and the coming ‘year’ would be actually better. I, who belongs to the species of human beings generally called as brats , have shed a few layers of my not-so-narcissistic admiration for self in last year – to say. The way this all and that is happening (yes it’s still happening and not reached the death) I would never be able to love myself, reach the earlier level of self-respect ever, and yes I said ‘ever’. But the post is not again about the love of my life – I! It’s about what I am wishing from the coming year and for what I would actually try. Life!

(This is not a post on Resolutions, just the Wishes!) In few hours we’ll be into another New Year, year 2012. When I look back to the last 365 or 364 days and few hours a lot of tales, told – untold, experiences, emotions and a lot, I find swimming through the time. Few lines have never been sufficient to write down what I’ve felt, but a write-up of limited words is what I like to read and thus share too…. Me, Achtung, Rides and the People Achtung - BisonsRideHard A year back, Dec 2010, I wasn’t an Inddiethumpers . Year later, Dec 2011, I ain’t! I bought mu bull, Achtung, little over two years back. Rode some of the best rides with office mates, and then got to know about the largest Bullet Club of the Nation – the Inddiethumpers! You’ll die to join the club if you have been with them even for a chae-sutta ride, and so did I. I did my life’s longest ride of some 5000km , Mumbat to Kolkata and back, with Guri pa ji, Ganesh, Ranjit, Rahul, Kaka and others of Inddiethumper...

There is saying that what/how you do on the first day of the Year, decides what/how everything is gonna be for the whole year. After my New Year’s night out with Bullet gang cancelled, I had the notion that coming year wouldn’t be happening too ride-full as I wished! There came my roommate’s wish to visit some beach. Voila! I was waiting for that wish! A partner, a Bull and a Beach - what more a Beggar can wish for, on the very first day of the Year. So, with my roommate and two more friends we decided to visit the Kihim Beach, near Alibaug . I wanted to visit this Beach, since long time. Planned a few times too, but all of no worth. It’s less than 100 kilometers from Navi Mumbai, through NH 17/4B. After having late night party on 31 st , we woke up late and started for the Beach at about 1 PM. Aim was to have a peace ride, so for most of the way we rode below 70 kmph. There was a little more than usual traffic on that 2-lane highway, cause of the vacation time. We too...
